What is 550 Paracord?

550 Paracord (also known as Type III Paracord) is a lightweight nylon cord originally developed for military parachute suspension lines. Today, it's widely used around the world for outdoor equipment, pet accessories, survival gear, and handcrafted products thanks to its exceptional durability.

A Note on Strength

The quoted 550 lb (249 kg) breaking strength refers to the paracord itself under laboratory testing and does not represent the breaking strength of the finished product.

The overall strength of a completed item depends on factors such as knots, stitching, hardware, buckles, clips, rings, normal wear and tear, and how the product is used. For this reason, our finished products should not be used for climbing, lifting, towing, fall protection, or any other life-safety applications.

You may return most items within 30 days of receiving your order for a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, items must:

• Be accompanied by proof of purchase, such as your order confirmation or receipt.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we'll notify you of the outcome.

If your return is approved:

• Your refund will be issued to your original payment method.

• Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your payment provider.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the item is faulty, damaged, or sent in error.

Exchanges

If you would like to exchange an item for a different size, colour, or replacement, please contact us within the 30-day return period. Exchanges are subject to product availability.

Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or you receive the wrong item, please contact us as soon as possible (preferably within 7 days of delivery). We'll work quickly to resolve the issue by offering a replacement, exchange, or full refund where appropriate.

Return Shipping

Unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, customers are responsible for the cost of returning items.

We recommend using a tracked postal service, as we cannot be responsible for returns that are lost in transit.
